“Mandarin Oriental is set to open a luxurious new hotel and resort complex in Bali in 2016. The Mandarin Oriental Bali will feature 97 villas and 24 spacious guest rooms, offering a serene retreat for those seeking a peaceful escape. Situated on the Bukit Peninsula at the southern tip of Bali, the resort will provide stunning views of the Indian Ocean and direct access to a secluded white sand beach.
Each of the 97 villas will come with its own private pool, ranging from 10 to 15 meters in length, while the 24 guest rooms will offer ocean views. The interior design of the resort has been entrusted to Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston International, blending contemporary styles with traditional Balinese elements and East Asian influences to honor the hotel’s heritage.
Dining options at the Mandarin Oriental Bali will include three restaurants: a flagship cliff-top dining venue, a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a casual beachside bar and grill. The resort will also cater to couples looking to celebrate their weddings, with numerous reception halls available.
For relaxation and wellness, the resort will feature a 1,725 square meter spa with eight treatment rooms, a sauna, and a steam room. Guests can also enjoy a fitness center and a 100-meter outdoor pool. Additionally, the resort will offer a variety of activities, including a Kids Centre for young guests, an 18-hole golf course, and an extensive library for those who prefer a quieter pastime.
Mandarin Oriental, a Hong Kong-based luxury hotel group, manages high-end hotels and resorts in 20 cities worldwide, including seven locations in the United States. The Mandarin Oriental Bali promises to be a remarkable addition to their collection.
