“Martell House of Cognac is celebrating its 300th anniversary, with Diane Kruger chosen as the ambassador for this milestone event. To mark the occasion, Martell has introduced a special Tricentenary edition called Premier Voyage. Additionally, they have launched an immersive pop-up installation at Charles de Gaulle Airport, available until August 31st, where travelers can purchase this limited edition.
The Tricentenary installation offers travelers a deep dive into Martell’s Art de Vivre, allowing them to explore the true essence of Martell through a range of multi-sensory experiences. Visitors can engage in pre-bookable cognac and chocolate pairing sessions, explore an interactive ‘Discovery Table,’ and view content from Martell’s rich archives.
The pop-up’s design draws inspiration from the Tricentenaire special edition cognac, Premier Voyage. This exclusive offering is crafted with eaux-de-vie dating back from 1868 to 1977 and aged in a barrel made from a 300-year-old oak tree.
Premier Voyage is a rare and luxurious blend, available in limited quantities to travelers for €10,000 ($11,250). This powerful, expressive, and complex cognac is made from 18 remarkable eaux-de-vie, including some of Martell’s oldest. The initial aroma offers generous notes of candied peel, blackcurrant, honey, and gingerbread. As the cognac swirls in the glass, it reveals the full elegance of old walnuts, dried fruit, apricots, and raisins. The taste is both rich and delicate, with flavors of candied fruit and a hint of blackcurrant, leading to a long, spicy finish with beeswax notes. All of this is masterfully blended and aged in barrels made from the oak of a 300-year-old tree, specially sourced from the forest of Les Bertranges in France.”
